From the commencement of employment new employees undertake a structured induction covering a range of topics required for the delivery of quality services in line with Perthyn’s policies, procedures, ethos and values. This includes on the job training, completion of all statutory/mandatory training and training specific to individuals’ needs along with regular supervisions and a detailed probationary process. Our line managers take the lead on ensuring staff new to working with an individual are well briefed in all aspects of the person’s support plans and that they ‘shadow’ an experienced member of staff, not working without supervision until they are deemed competent, and the staff member feels confident to do so. |
We provide a comprehensive person-centred development programme to ensure our employees receive all the training necessary for the provision of a professional service, the fulfilment of contractual and legal responsibilities and to support their own personal and professional development.
